PALENPORE

A printed fabric used for bed covers, plain weave, printed Indian designs by hand blocks - The whole of the surface is covered with pattern. The name is also applied to the hand-painted cloths used as mats, prayer carpets, garments, canopies, etc. The word is derived from the Hindustani " palang-posh " meaning bed cover.
